the things you were.

I'm Kyle.
I reside in southeastern Minnesota. Music and Photography are my life. I shoot Nikon. I miss the 90's. A lot of things make me happy.

I’m considering upgrading to a Canon 5D Mark II later this year!! Ugh it’s such a huge commitment for one piece of equipment; especially for only a hobbyist like myself. ldkfjldsjf. I’ve only been taking pictures for 6 months, which is such a short time, but I’ve learned soooooooooo much, and I’ve fallen in love with it like I have with music. Honestly I cannot wait for summer so that I can devote more time to nourishing my new skill. College and winter are making photography really difficult to make time for… if that makes sense? I still have a lot to consider:

1. Do I want to pursue photography as sort of a side-career? Like taking pictures on the side for fun and possibly extra cash?

2. Do I really need to invest in such an expensive piece of equipment? I understand that I do like to purchase super nice equipment, but I need to comprehend its value to myself.

3. What else could I spend the money on…. or not spend it on? As weird as it sounds, I would feel really weird spoiling myself with this. Its probably a good thing though, because it keeps me from making poor decision purchases.

I’m super happy with what I have now, but some aspects of my camera could be way better. Like an internal focus motor, weather-sealing, functionality at high noise, focal points, ergonomics… I’m not complaining by any means! Because I LOVE my camera. Anyways… This as been a really erratic blog post!!

Check out my photographs please!!
